What's In Your Hand?
We can usually see what children hold on to for security- blankets, pacifiers, stuffed animals, etc. With adults, its often just as obvious- big houses, expensive cars, unfulfilling-high paying jobs, purposeless-high profile careers. There are many things we hold on to for our security- the past, the hope of change, the perceptions of others, keeping the status quo. As we go through life, we end up with many things in our hands that we put a lot of hope in to provide security and comfort and importance. As we sometimes regret the way things have turned out for us or just co-exist with the way things are, the Lord has been working everything up to this day to put into our hands exactly what he wants for and from us! Join us in this look at Moses as God takes what's in Moses' hand and does God-sized things with them, shattering his idea of security and providing the very things Moses was desperate for- and see what the Lord can do with what's in your hand!
