Why has the concept of being a "disciple" all but disappeared from the mindset of most church attendees? Why does the word Christian and the word disciple seem so mutually exclusive in our culture today? Could it be that living in an era void of the intense persecution that took place in the early church that we have lost our intense passion for following Jesus with our whole life for our whole life?
