Wisdom and Praise
The middle books of our English Bibles are called the "Wisdom Books." We call them that because each of them presents wisdom from the Lord in a wide array of settings and styles. These books speak to almost every condition of the human experience and give us a blueprint on what it means to gain and walk in wisdom no matter our circumstances. It's so easy to get caught up in the day's headlines, worries and troubles. When we do that , we often make unwise decisions because we start to believe it's all up to us if anything is ever going to change. We must praise the Lord with our breath while we have breath, and when we do that, we remember who's really on the throne and we open ourselves up to wisdom.
