One Month to Live: Gospel
Culture has changed dramatically over the past 60 years, and things seem to have been even more fast-forwarded over the last 10 years or so. There has been an explosion of entertainment, gaming, info, and communication options. With that explosion we find ourselves trying to assimilate a lot of data all of the time. In our effort to deal with this new life, we are often distracted, either by input-overload or simply out of an undisciplined, wandering mind. We are, in general, a very distracted people. We must concentrate on something that will give us focus when life is distracting, difficult and tragic. If we only have one month to live, and really we only have today, we must invest our time in the people in our lives in such a way that we leave an eternal legacy. The only thing that lasts that long is the work of the Gospel, and we must give it to all that we can while we can!
