On Mission
A missionary mindset has been a part of Christianity from its earliest days. Less than 170 years after Christ's resurrection, Christian missionaries had travelled to Briton and Japan. They went to unknown cultures full of danger and strange practices believing that they were doing so under the calling and cause of God. But the impetus behind CHristian and modern missions is much older. 21st century, Christian missions are rooted in what has been described as the Mission Dei- God's mission, and God has been on mission since the beginning of time. And we are to join him by being on mission.
