More than Words: Rest
Trying to discern between our wants and our needs is generally a fairly difficult thing to do in America, and Christmas seems to only exasperate the situation. Life at this time of year becomes a mad scramble to get everything we want in hopes that it will meet all of our needs. In the craziness that is the holidays, we want a place to rest. A place to stop, to find ourselves and to really assess what our needs are and the best way to meet them. As we live life in a hectic, chaotic, uncooperative world, let's see what God has to say about giving us rest and how he would meet our deepest needs.
