More than Words: Easier
The Principle of Least Effort is a theory that states that all intelligent beings will naturally choose the path of least resistance to accomplish work. There are physical laws that seem to reflect this, too; so much so that we seem to be surrounded by people and things that will put out the least effort to get the biggest gains or to accomplish the most work. If we're not careful we'll default to this "easier instinct" and give in to it in every area of life. It can creep into our relationships, too- relationships with God and with people. So what happens when God's high call on our lives directly challenges the impulse to do things the easy way? In the moment that we receive the great demands of following God, will we respond with faith?
