Jesus Is...The Miracle Worker
There are some passages in the Bible and you wonder why they are there. Why did God record that? What are we supposed to do with that info? This passage is one of those: Jesus turning the water into wine. It can't be just to tell us that Jesus drank wine, can it? That wouldn't be very helpful at all. Jesus begins his ministry at a wedding in Cana and the unexpected occurs- the bridegroom runs out of wine! Jesus and his first disciples are guests and the text leads us to wonder, "What will Jesus do about this? Does he care? Should we care?" Listen as we recognize more of the greatness of Jesus in this unique story and as we learn to rely on him when we need a miracle.
