Isaiah's Tale of Two Cities

Somehow or another, cities have gotten a bad rap. Whether its the press of humanity living in close proximity, or traffic, or crime statistics, or the pace of life, cities are often seen as bad. In place of that is the idea that living in the country is good; intrinsically good, especially in contrast to living in a city. Almost as if to show us how confused and screwed up our thinking about most things is, God has promised us that we will live forever in a city. Not just in a concept called 'heaven' but in a localized, specific place- a city. And there are sharp, inherent differences between the city that God has for his people and the city of those who refuse his grace. We're all already feeling the effects of those two cities right now. Which city are you preparing yourself to live in forever?
