CloseToday, we explore John 6:59-71 and conclude the conversation surrounding the bread of life. This passage carries some pretty hard words from Jesus, yet they are the words of eternal life. Amazingly, many of His "disciples" ended up grumbling and walking away from Him, unable to accept what He was saying. Throughout scriptures, we are faced with passages just like this one. Is our tendency to humbly submit to Jesus' words, trusting that He gives life? Or do we grumble against Him, find others who support our opinion, or simply walk away? Lord willing, we will be faithful like Peter, confessing that Jesus is the only ONE who has the words of eternal life.
