Grace for our Pride
An unhealthy kind of pride has long been considered a major character flaw in the heart of most people. Dating back to the ancient Greeks, almost all writers in the Western world have acknowledged the many sins, faults, and hurts that have been perpetrated due to pride. If we take a closer, more honest look behind the veil of most of our sins and struggles we will see that most of us exist within a constant, titanic struggle with pride. God wants us to leave our destructive pride and turn to him in love and humility for a joy that nothing can ever take away. He wants us free from pride and to tell others to run away from it- and to him in faith and love!
