False Counselors and God's Grace

We all get input and counseling from someone. We have big decisions to face or we're going through a hard time or we need some help with a relationship or advice on a big purchase. We're constantly turning to trusted advisors to help us navigate the rough and confusing waters of life. One of the things that makes all of this more difficult is that there are literally millions of voices out there for us to listen to. Diverse backgrounds, worldviews, and goals for life often make the incoming counsel a muddled mess that leaves us worse off than when we began or leads us in the wrong directly entirely. God uses many, many means to accomplish his goals for us and to bring us to himself and to life. He will confound our hearts, confuse our counsel, and strike us with hardship in order to cause us to love and worship him and to be a beacon of life for the masses that need some good, godly counsel, also.
