From the Well to Belief
Water is a kind of universal symbol for life. Water is the most abundant element on the face of the planet. Water is essential for life as we know it. We have a built-in craving and thirst for water. But we find out every day that we have to drink a lot of liquid just to replace what we lose- and we are still thirsty! God created us that way, he made us thirsty. He made us thirsty in every area of life with a craving for more. Our sin has twisted that and now we try to satisfy our different thirsts with things that not only aren't fulfilling but they make us thirstier. Christ talked about a water that always satisfies, a well that never fails, a drink that fills us up and gives us enough to give to others. Find your total satisfaction for all of life in the water that Christ has to give you!
