Become Extravagant
Not many of us think in terms of extravagance, especially not in these most recent economic times. Additionally, most of us don't think in terms of extravagance unless we're supposed to be the recipients of it. Part of this is probably because we are generally surrounded by nice things and we've often filled our lives with things that are often quite extravagant. How many of think of anything extravagant when it comes to God? Its so easy just to give in to our own passions and to the pull of this world and just live for ourselves. What would it look like if those who claim to follow Christ lived and gave extravagantly? What would it look like if I lived and gave extravagantly?
