David - Part 2
David is one of the most intriguing figures in history. Emerging from nowhere, from humble beginnings, he becomes one of the most storied men in Israel's history. Through his conquest of Goliath, his being anointed as king, running for his life from Saul, and ascendency to the throne, he serves as an encouragement and warning to us all. One of the things that makes David most unique is the way he mirrors Christ- this is called being a "type".
