Crossing Over
Have you ever been on the brink of doing something really great, something that's new and exhilarating- and then turned around? There are a lot of things in life that are new and fun and challenging and thrilling, but many times we turn around and don't try them. Whether its fear or difficulty of the task ahead or just the idea of change we often don't cross over into the next phase of life. God providentially brings us to crossing points, to rushing rivers that could either carry us away in defeat or be the biggest milestone of faith in our memory. God is with us, has gone before, is going with us and wants desperately to build our faith while we walk with him. He has sent the God-man Jesus into this world to show us what crossing over looks like- will we do it? Joshua and the Israelites are at the Jordan and must cross over or wander in the disobedient wilderness; listen and find out what the Bible has recorded about God's leading them into this tremendously challenging time of their faith walk- and what it means for us today!
