Dissatisfied With Wandering
It's often difficult to know what to do with everything in our lives. Many times, all of the pain, mistakes, sins, suffering, missed opportunities...none of it seems to add up. We just kind of wander around not knowing where to turn for answers or help. And in the midst of all that, we don't experience any victories or rest. We just move from one conflict to another hoping to survive. The Bible speaks to this- it holds the principles and precepts that talk directly into our struggle for meaning, rest and victory! Joshua had been wandering the desert for 40 years, following God's leadership through Moses and being shaped and molded by God. Joshua didn't have designs on being "the man", but God did and he used battles, conflicts, sins, judgements, provision, and wandering to prepare Joshua to be his man.
