CloseCourage is a word we don't use very much, but its certainly a character quality that most of us would desire. In a world full of troubles and sorrow, our faith can be shaken and courage can be a pipe dream best left to heroes and super-humans. As Christ is about to face his darkest day, and arguably the darkest day of all time, he is busy looking out for his followers- then and now. The men who were with him in that upper room and long walk to the garden and us, his followers centuries later. He's not wallowing in his own grief or quaking in his sandals- he's passing out encouragement to be brave because of God's peace, not matter what may come. Will I be courageous? Will you?
